Description: upperside coloration varies from grayish to yellow-brownish with dark bars in an irregular network and a dark streak from the eye to the corner of the mouth, underside is whitish or yellowish

Habitat: dry steppes and semi-deserts

Activity: nocturnal

Diet: small vertebrates

Reproduction: viviparous
