Description: upperside with dark spots and thin mid-dorsal line, lateral stripes of ocellated markings: dark patches with pale centres, males turn bright green in breeding period

Habitat: heathlands, fields and urban areas

Activity: diurnal

Diet: various invertebrates

Reproduction: oviparous
